Gymr (“Gymr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Gymr mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you consent to the practices described here.
We may collect information you provide directly, including account details, profile information, workout records, exercise history, friend connections, support requests, and communications preferences. We may also collect device and usage information such as device type, operating system, app version, interaction data, diagnostics, crash logs, IP address, and approximate location derived from network information. Health or fitness information is collected only when you choose to enter it or authorize access through supported platform permissions.
We use information to provide and improve the Services; create and maintain accounts; record workouts and analytics; enable friend volume battles and Live Activity features; process subscriptions; deliver service, security, and support messages; personalize functionality; detect fraud, abuse, and technical issues; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our agreements.
We may share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support, messaging delivery, and security. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.
Mobile Information & Consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
You may update account information, adjust app permissions and messaging preferences, request access or correction, or request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to legal exceptions. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time. Additional rights may apply based on your location.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
